A TRIO of legendary veteran actresses – Olivia de Havilland, Julie Walters and June Whitfield – have been made dames.
Double Oscar winner Olivia, who is 101 next month, is the oldest woman to win the honour.
Her first Academy Award nomination was for playing Melanie Hamilton, sister-in-law of Scarlett O’Hara, in the 1939 classic Gone With The Wind.
She went on to win Oscars for To Each His Own in 1947 and The Heiress in 1950.
