Police chief is ‘humbled’
POLICE Scotland deputy chief constable Rose Fitzpatrick was humbled to be made a CBE.
Rose served with City of London Police and the Met before moving to Scotland, where she is responsible for local policing.
She thanked her colleagues and family for their support and said: “This is a great and very humbling honour.
“Policing really matters to our communities. It’s a privilege as well as a joy to work every day with amazing colleagues and partners.”
Deputy chief constable Johnny Gwynne and Chief Superintendent Gill Imery both receive the Queen’s Police Medal.
