SINN Fein and the Democratic Unionists both insist a deal to restore a powersharing administration in Northern Ireland can be sealed by the end of the month.
But, speaking in Dublin after a meeting with new Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, DUP leader Arlene Foster piled pressure on Sinn Fein. She said: “It takes two to tango and we’re ready to dance.”
Sinn Fein Stormont leader Michelle O’Neill said a deal was “doable” and added: “We remain committed to making the institutions work.”
