Hammy’s electric shock for Jeremy

IT’S been a week of showbiz car crashes - literally.

Record columnist Richard Hammond has been showing off the horrific scar he received as a result of his latest smash.

It covers most of his left leg. Mind you, he’s so teeny it only needed one stitch.

Richard was flown to hospital after a collision at an electric car race in Switzerland.

Luckily, if you drive an electric car serious injury is very unlikely. You can, however, die of shame. His big pal Jeremy Clarkson has admitted that the crash was the most frightening thing he’d ever seen. That’s some claim. From a man who has to look at himself wearing tight jeans in the mirror every morning.

Then there was poor Jennifer Lawrence, whose private plane was forced to make an emergency landing due to poor weather and engine failure.

What a shame for the lassie. Another nightmare in her life caused by bad things being uploaded to a cloud. Then there are the career crashes. Maria Sharapova’s announced she won’t be able to compete at Wimbledon. They obviously don’t have the special deuce she likes to drink.

In fact, Maria won’t appear at the event in any capacity. Well, after 12 months not earning from the game, she cannae afford the 50 grand for a ticket. ●The fashion industry and many top models have held a charity dinner in aid of saving elephants. They did well. There was enough food left over to feed a full herd for a year.
