Andy eyes Queen’s Club and Wimbers titles to stay on top of the world

GLASGOW ROCKS captain Kieron Achara believes new coach Tony Garbelotto can take the BBL club to a whole new level and boost their hopes of landing a trophy.

The Great Britain forward was involved in the Rocks’ unorthodox recruitment process as part as a threeman panel who interviewed the main candidates.

Garbelotto won a 2010-11 treble with Everton Tigers. And Achara said: “Tony knows what it takes to win in this league. That is an invaluable asset.

“Tony and I both care deeply about developing young British talent and wanting to win the right way so I’m excited to have his leadership here at the Rocks.”
