Andre: I’ll jump to the top

-

LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT Andre Ward is considering leaping two weight divisions to get a crack at Anthony Joshua.

And the US star’s trainer insists he can “outbox” the Brit after retaining his WBO, WBA and IBF belts with an eighth-round stoppage of Sergey Kovalev in Las Vegas.

Ward made it 32 wins from 32 then said “anything is possible” when asked about a future fight with the heavyweight world champ.

The 33-year-old added: “Maybe cruiserweight, I don’t know. Cruiserweight, heavyweight, that has always been a dream of mine. It’s gotta be the right guy but I dream big.”

His trainer Virgil Hunter said: “I see him outboxing Anthony Joshua.”
