DAVID AND VICTORIA’S LITTLE GIRL TURNS SIX

-

besieged by companies desperate to dress her, giving her free clothes.

Sources said: “For designers of children’s clothes, dressing Harper Beckham is the holy grail.”

Her favourite toy store in Los Angeles, American Girl, became an international hit, selling £70 dolls that can have a makeover or even a full spa treatment.

After Harper was pictured carrying their wheelchair-bound figurine, sales of the broken-legged doll rocketed. Even as a toddler, her fans wanted to be like her.

A life in front of the lens soon loomed, with baby’s first fashion week arriving at two months old.

By her first birthday, Harper was ready to take her first steps along the catwalk – holding Mummy’s hand – as Victoria debuted a collection at Brown Thomas in Dublin.

Even stern Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour seemed smitten when they sat together at a show in 2014.

By her third year, Harper had apparently been targeted with £30million worth of modelling contract offers.

Victoria sold her designer cast-offs for charity in a Primrose Hill boutique for up to £500 an item.

Now, as Harper has blossomed into a little lady, her fashion credentials – and wardrobe – have really begun to take on a life of their own.

Stella McCartney, Chloe, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs and Charlotte Olympia were all big-name designers sported by the pre-schooler.

And as Victoria launched her first childrenswear collection for Target this year, she actively asked her budding fashionista Harper for input.

Following in mum’s Louboutin-clad footsteps, Harper has seen her etchings make it on to a T-shirt sold to raise funds for World Aids Day.

“She’s very opinionated about what she will and won’t wear,” said Victoria. “Not in an obnoxious way, but like any child, whatever she wears has to be comfortable – no heavy fabrics, nothing too tight under the arms or around the waist.”

In February, it was not the £240 Gucci boots Harper was pictured wearing at New York fashion week that got people chattering, or the £695 Burberry coat, more the leather minibag by luggage firm Goyard.

Harper’s purse was estimated to be worth about £1200. This was days after she wore a £680 Burberry cape, monogrammed with her initials HSB.

Harper jetted off on a skiing holiday, where she had an on-hand instructor, that week wearing a £400 Stella McCartney outfit, and on the same trip colour co-ordinated an all white outfit with mum, a snip at £367.

But before the mini Posh gets too big for her Louboutins, Harper must remember that mum and dad instil a strict work ethic in all their brood.

At 15, she too can expect to take up a Saturday job as her brothers did – serving coffee at a shop in west London.

At least she’ll be dressed fabulously behind the counter.
