LDV’s minibus offers huge range of customisation

CUSTOMISATION and personalisation have taken the car world by storm – but now these features extend right into the heart of commercial vehicles.

Major players LDV have just launched the attractive Mini B, a 15-seater minibus – that’s 14 plus driver – that customers can make their very own.

If you want a red leather interior with diamond grade stitching, for example, you can have it.

Already the take-up has shown the company have a very attractive and successful offering on their hands.

Part of the reason for this is the two-week turn-around time during which LDV’s crack team can create a vehicle to your exact specification.

There is an extensive range of custom interior flooring and seating that allow the customer to get the format spot on.

Not everyone wants the delightful Mini B for the same reason, as Mark Barrett general manager of LDV UK & Ireland explained.

He said: “When it comes to minibuses there is rarely a ‘one type fits all’ option. Such is the versatility of the Mini B that it is used as a crew cab, taxi, domestic people carrier and, yes, even a minibus.

“Consequently, different people want different specs and we take customisation for our customers personally.

“Every Mini B is created to their specification and we aim to complete customisation within a two-week timeframe, delivering on quality and value for money.

“If two weeks is too long, we also have two trim specs, Deluxe Grade and Diamond Royal, available to choose from for immediate delivery.”

The Mini B comes with a 2.5-litre diesel engine, a leading anti-skid braking system and electronic brake force distribution.

Its top-class suspension means it provides a supersmooth ride, cushioning passengers from even the roughest of roads.

It has bags of kit as standard including include cruise control, air conditioning, front power windows and integrated cup holders. Combined with the customisation options, the Mini B is an excellent choice for drivers who demand quality and style, at a price that’s right.

Further options include a surround sound system, FM/ AM/MP3 player and Bluetooth.

The Mini B is available in Blanc White and a metallic option in Lava Grey and Olive Brown.

It can be purchased under LDV’s e 555 finance deal – a fiveyear or 125,000-mile warranty, five years’ roadside assistance and a five-year finance package.

Launched at this year’s Commercial Vehicle show, the Mini B is already gathering plenty of fans.

Mark Barrett went on: “We have a really strong dealer network, and all of our LDV dealers have onsite workshops providing a round-the-clock assistance for repairs, service or checks.

“This means we can keep downtime to a minimum, which we know is crucial for business owners.

“In the same way, our aftersales service team are ready to respond to calls 24 hours a day, giving our customers piece of mind that should a problem occur we can get them back on the road as soon as possible.”
