“There is nothing to be shocked or alarmed about – if the team was not producing or the team was not playing the philosophy we want from them then I would be worried.

“The boys are getting along and into the same rhythm and on Saturday we will be better.

“We will most definitely improve for our target of August 6.”

English midfielder Matt Crooks, who made just three appearances after signing for Rangers last July, has left the club in a £125,000 switch to Northampton.
