Rays awareness

DON’T be fooled by the rubbish weather. The risk posed by the sun’s UV rays is still there.

-

That’s why cancer charity Melanoma Action and Support Scotland are reminding everyone to remember the sunscreen.

Even in cloudy weather, the sun still gets through with enough power to damage unprotected skin.

Around 10,000 Scots are diagnosed with skin cancer every year. It’s the most common cancer in the country among people aged 15 to 34.

Don’t let a sun tan obsession cut your life short.
