Charlie mum pleads: Stop the hatred
CHARLIE Gard’s parents have condemned the idiots sending death threats to doctors and nurses treating their desperately ill son.
Chris Gard and Connie Yates are involved in an ongoing legal battle with Great Ormond Street Hospital over whether the tot should be allowed to die.
The hospital, who believe Charlie’s life support should be turned off, said at the weekend that medics treating Charlie have faced thousands of vile threats.
Connie said yesterday: “Despite conflicting issues, we have always had the utmost respect for all the staff who work tirelessly and do very difficult jobs.
“Like them, we have been shocked by some of the public response to this case. We agree with them that it is disgraceful that doctors have received death threats.”
