THE Green Brigade fired back in their row with Celtic but won’t find much support from the majority of Hoops fans.

Parkhead chiefs are closing down the ultra fans’ section for two games after their paramilita­ry banner display against Linfield resulted in a UEFA charge.

The controvers­ial group hit out in a statement, claiming the punishment was too severe and vowing not to change their ways. But callers have backed the club in this stand-off.

said: “The Green Brigade create a brilliant atmosphere at home and away games but the majority of Celtic fans are turning against them with all the other stuff.

“They must know they’ll get the club into trouble with their actions.”
