PSG chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi has vowed to splash more cash before the Champions League opener against Celtic.

The Qatari businessman has already spent almost £200million capturing Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona this summer.

PSG have six days left to complete their squad before the Group B clash with Brendan Rodgers’s men in Glasgow on September 12.

With moves worth another £200m for Kylian Mbappe and Fabinho in the pipeline, Al-Khelaifi is going all-out in their bid for a first taste of Champions League glory.

He said: “We still have a week to buy and sell players. This is not an easy draw. There are big clubs in there like Bayern Munich.

“Anderlecht are known, Celtic is difficult to play in Glasgow. We want to focus on each game to win.

“It’s our dream. We’re going to work every day, every month to win. We want to do everything for that.

“Our dream is to win the Champions League – I have made no secret of that.

“But first let us focus on Stadium: Parc des Princes (capacity: 47,929) Unai Emery Star men: Neymar Danny Alves Edinson Cavani 2nd to Monaco in Ligue 1 European Cup Winners Cup 1995 – PSG 1, Celtic 0; Celtic 0, PSG 3. 0 winning this group because it won’t be simple for us.”

PSG coach Unai Emery is wary of the threat of playing Celtic at Parkhead as he looks to top the group.

He said: “Bayern are a very strong team and we will be the two favourites.

“But the other two will want to create an upset. Celtic are very dangerous at home, just like Anderlecht. We want to finish first in the group.”
