Strachan’s homing in on Cove success
RYAN STRACHAN had grounds for believing Cove Rangers was his ideal destination this summer.
The midfielder packed up from Peterhead and was quick to agree a deal with John Sheran’s side.
Homeless since the start of last season, the former Allan Park side are likely to move into their new purpose-built Calder Park ground by Christmas.
Ahead of today’s league clash at Forres, Strachan said: “The target is to win the Highland League and give it a right good go in the play-offs. We want to be in the Scottish League.
“This club is ambitious and that’s why I came here. The new stadium was a big attraction for me and the overall package that comes with Cove is great.”
