We’ll use artificial intelligence at Accies
JAMES FORREST insists Celtic won’t be stressed by Hamilton’s plastic pitch as they have already gained plenty of artificial intelligence.
The Hoops will play on astroturf for the third time this season – with several of the squad also involved on Lithuania’s 4G surface for Scotland.
Forrest is so used to playing on plastic he’ll barely give it a second thought tonight and claims there can be no excuses if Celts fail to beat Accies.
He said: “Every player would rather play on grass but we have a few astro pitches and just have to get on with it.
“It’s probably about even on the number of games we’ve played on astro and grass between Killie, Hamilton, Astana and Lithuania.”
New signing Odsonne Edouard is set for his Celtic debut tonight and Forrest admitted the PSG loan star looks the part in training.
He said: “Odsonne looks powerful and strong – he will be a good addition to the squad.
“It keeps everyone on their toes and there’s great competition for places which can only be good for the club.”
Forrest is looking forward to next week’s PSG showdown with Neymar and Co – but insists the Hoops won’t take their eye off the ball against Accies.
He said: “We know we have to be at it in the league to be ready for the Champions League.”
