Time for a check-up
IT USED to be called 4H because of who was most likely at the time to get it – heroin users, hepatitis carriers, Haitians and homosexuals.
Now we call it HIV and far from the death sentence it represented in the 80s, thousands of Scots live healthy and fulfilling lives with the condition.
This week is HIV testing week. But for anyone having risky or regular sex with more than one partner, it should be MOT week. Time to go get yourself checked out.
