Whisky’s the way ahead
I AM amazed at all the hype surrounding electric cars as the way to cut harmful emissions.
What other choices do we have? Well, a few months ago a story did the rounds about biofuels and, in particular, a fuel developed from whisky waste.
Scientists have found a way to turn this worthless residue into a chemical that can be used to run both diesel and petrol cars without the need to modify their engines.
Surely this is the route we should be going down?
We won’t need to scrap millions of cars and we’ll be recycling waste. What more do the green people want?
