KIDS AT DOUBLE
Caixinha’s men are on the right track.
But the Rangers manager admitted he was extremely annoyed to concede a late goal to Dundee striker Faissal El Bakhtaoui.
Speaking on Rangers TV, Caixinha said: “The boys played a good game and the positives were much more than the points we didn’t like. Winning and scoring four goals is something which is very, very good.
“The boys who needed to score goals scored goals to keep that level of confidence so overall we need to be pleased.
“The quality of the play was very good. We maybe had opportunities to score a few more but the quality in the last third was okay
“There are some things regarding the starting and ending attacking positions that we need to improve on.
“The way we conceded the goal too, I didn’t like it, and the way we began the second half I didn’t like.
“Those points can make the difference so we need to keep looking at them.” STEVEN PRESSLEY’S son Aaron and former Rangers prodigy Billy Gilmour are in a 20-man squad named by Scotland Under-17s manager Brian McLaughlin for a Wales double header next week.
The Scots take on the Welsh on Wednesday and Friday in Llanelli in preparation for next month’s European Championship qualifying round in Estonia where they will face the hosts, Andorra and Denmark.
Pressley, on the books of Aston Villa, and Gilmour, who moved to Chelsea in the summer, are among a group of five players from south of the border including Lewis Fiorini of Manchester City.
Also included are 13 SFA performance school pupils.
