DATE SET FOR PUGFEST

TICKETS for the first pug festival in Scotland went on sale yesterday after organisers secured a venue.

PugFest will be held at the Scottish National Equine Centre in West Lothian on April 29 next year following calls from fans of the cute dogs to hold the event north of the Border. Organisers are planning a Highland Games theme.

Dubbed “Glastonbury for pugs”, PugFest was first held in Wales in 2014. The first three festivals attracted 125,000 visitors.
