Pogba knock takes shine off Red rout
MANCHESTER UNITED made a winning return to the Champions League – but it came at a price with an injury to Paul Pogba.
Goals from Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford ensured a triumphant start to the group stage for United.
Pogba was replaced by Fellaini who headed home an Ashley Young cross 16 minutes after coming on.
Lukaku nodded in seven minutes after the restart, with sub Rashford netting a third in 84 minutes.
Jose Mourinho wasn’t concerned with Pogba’s hamstring pull and said: “The squad’s for injuries, the squad’s for suspensions.”
