A MAN has appeared in court charged with murder after allegedly firing a bow and arrow at a man then stabbing him to death.

Gordon Diduca, also known as Gordon Adams, died after being attacked outside a block of flats at Dundee’s Dundonald Court late on Sunday night.

Yesterday, Charles Little, 31 – who lived in the block – appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court accused of murder. He faced four charges during a one-minute private hearing on petition.

Prosecutors say Little threatened the occupants of a flat at 72 Dundonald Court with a bow and arrows then hammered on the door and tried to force entry.

A second charge alleges that on the communal landing between the flat and his own home, he assaulted Gordon Diduca, Jason Sinclair and Colin Hughes, threatened them with a bow and arrow and repeatedly fired arrows towards them.

Little is then alleged to have stabbed Gordon Diduca to death.

A fourth charge alleges that he stabbed Jason Sinclair in the arm.

During the short hearing, Little made no plea or declaration and his solicitor, David Sinclair, made no motion for bail.

Sheriff Lorna Drummond QC continued the case for further examination and remanded Little in custody. He is expected to appear in court again next week.

We told this week how police and paramedics rushed to the scene of the incident, on the corner of Arklay Street and Dundonald Street, at about 11:45pm on Sunday.

But Gordon – who is survived by brothers David and Ryan and sister Lisa – couldn’t be saved.

Friends and family paid tribute to him and launched a fundraising campaign to pay for his funeral.
