I’M HAPPY YOU KNOW

-

From Back Page making him and his foreign signings feel welcome was likened to breaking a boys code of silence.

That any dark secrets on holiday remain just that – a secret hidden from those back home.

If Caixinha is keen to plug a leak he may be wise to look within the club’s PR department – as a sanitised version of our back page story appeared on a Rangers fans website hours after we contacted the club for comment.

But that didn’t stop us from revealing the full extent of Caixinha’s extraordinary rant at certain players, including Graham Dorrans for handing the captain’s armband to Kenny Miller when the Scot replaced Carlos Pena against Celtic.

Yesterday Caixinha tried to play it down then claimed he’s happy the story came out because it proves he has a spy in the camp – yet still insisted the players are 100 per cent behind him.

Caixinha said: “When you go with one group of friends to Las Vegas and you know you are going to party and just enjoy the party, nobody is going to know about the party.

“Then one of your friends says to his wife – to your wife and the other wives – what happens, that means the sentence is not valid any more.

“What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas.

“I said the things in the right place, at the right time with the right people. This is normal, we always analyse the games so why is only this one out?

“I’m not annoyed, not at all. It’s good that it’s coming out. It’s just one confirmation.

“Confirmation that what happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas – but some guys are telling everything to their wife. They go against the promise.

“One thing that maybe was in Las Vegas and wasn’t exposed is I’m not afraid of dying – at all. I will die with my ideas and mine alone.

“But I’m glad in a good and open conversation I have people paying attention to what I said.

“I feel like sometimes we live in a circus and they want me to be the fish in the goldfish bowl. But I’m not taking part in that.

“You’re trying to use me as a clown – and I’m not going to allow it.

“If I leave tomorrow the club will be better than when I arrived. If I leave in 10 years we’ll be in a totally different position.

“It doesn’t matter what people say or write, I’ll be focused on my job.”
