QUOTE OF THE DAY

-

‘Caixinha’s embarrassed our club yet again. Time to show him the door. There’s a possibility Celtic will win every title until Armageddon’

at Hibs. If he’s such a poor player why did the Oldco fans sing at Easter Road 10 years ago, ‘We’re gonna take Scott Brown’?”

Harry Fitzpatrick, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, emailed: “Lots of complaints about Brown’s elbowing I see but some fans have short memories.

“Don’t they remember Lee ‘Elbows’ McCulloch? But that was okay then. Changed days, eh.”

Caixinha’s part in that elbow-gate controversy has earned widespread condemnation even from his own club’s support.

Jimmy Neil, Glasgow, said: “Caixinha has embarrassed our club yet again with his rants.

“Time to cut our losses and show him the door. There is a possibility Celtic will win every league title until Armageddon.”

Ian Loudon emailed: “Has Caixinha completely lost the plot? He is now in serious danger of becoming branded a complete fool and will soon alienate himself from all Rangers supporters.

“That will be a rocky road to travel but only for a short distance. Get your bags packed and ready.”

Liam Maley, Glasgow, said: “It’s all falling apart. It was clear after Brown wound him up that Caixinha cannot handle pressure and falling out with his players after the Glasgow derby defeat takes him one step closer to a dressing-room mutiny.

“Graham Dorrans and Kenny Miller will throw Pedro under his caravan and a draw or defeat to Hamilton on Friday spells crisis time before Halloween. Dave King has done a great job.”

Craig Gordon, Ayr, added: “What an utter mess at Rangers. Caixinha has lost the dressing room and blown a fortune, leaving the club in debt and facing a massive bill to pay him off and replace his duds.

“They are no longer a force and are miles behind Aberdeen and Hibs. Karma has done the job the SFA and SPFL bottled out of taking on.”
