ALTHOUGH troubled Tiger Woods’s golf career may be over, off the course he shows no handicap after managing to score a new girlfriend. The 14-times Major champion had rumoured new squeeze Erica Herman on his arm as he acted as America’s assistant captain during the President’s Cup. The 33-year-old brunette is said to have helped Woods, 41, overcome his recent personal troubles after he narrowly avoided prison following his arrest in May for driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

The couple allegedly became romantic after she started working as general manager of his pop-up restaurant, The Woods, in February.

Erica was seen accompanying the fatherof-two around the Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, as his team took on an international side.

A source said: “Tiger has had such a turbulent year, what with his problems with the police and his back surgery, but Erica has stood by him all the way.

“They get on incredibly well and she is not put off by his past troubles with women.”

Woods’s marriage to Swedish model Elin Nordegren collapsed in 2009 when it was discovered he had several affairs while taking part in wild sex with porn stars.

After his costly divorce, he later went on to have a relationship with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, but the couple

split two years ago.
