WHAT’S THE SCORE
KEITH JACKSON
WITH the right attitude and tempo Scotland can get goals against a defence there to be breached last time but that survived only due to the paucity of our attack. It will be different this time but no less of an ordeal.
SCOTLAND 2, SLOVAKIA 1
DAVID McCARTHY
I HOPE I’m wrong but I can see another crushing disappointment. Slovakia are a good side and need only a point. Playing a Scots side without Brown and Armstrong they’re capable of leaving with a draw.

CRAIG SWAN
SCOTLAND have the momentum and if they can keep tabs on danger man Marek Hamsik can overcome an otherwise ageing Slovakia. It’ll be tight, it’ll be tense but Strachan’s team can nick it.
SCOTLAND 1, SLOVAKIA 0
EUAN McLEAN
CONFIDENCE may be high in Scots camp after win in Lithuania but this is a sterner test – one I’m not sure they will pass with the loss of key men in midfield and a defence that still looks vulnerable.
SCOTLAND 1, SLOVAKIA 2
GAVIN BERRY
SLOVAKIA haven’t been convincing in this group and 3-0 in Trnava flattered them. Momentum is with Scotland and with a full house and a striker in form in Leigh Griffiths a home win is on the cards.
SCOTLAND 2, SLOVAKIA 1
GARY RALSTON
SLOVAKIA had five straight wins before last month’s 2-1 Wembley loss. They have recent experience at Euros and World Cup and don’t give up many goals. Close but no cigar, sadly, for the injury-hit Scots.

GORDON WADDELL
THE gut tells me 1-1 but heart overrules it. With wind in their sails from last few games, a solid defence and a chance to take it to the last game for the first time in eight years they’ll never be more motivated.

THE script looks set for Scotland getting ahead before Slovakia pinch a draw, probably late on for maximum pain. Let’s hope Strachan and Co can rip it up. SCOTLAND 2, SLOVAKIA 2
GORDON PARKS
LOSS of Brown and Armstrong has taken bite, control and energy from a midfield that will be key. Sadly, Slovakia are a side with class and guile all over the pitch and it’s only going to be a point for Scots.

SCOTT McDERMOTT
EXPECT an all-action display from a Scots side that now has goals in it. But defensively it will be tough against the slick Slovaks and with no Brown to shackle Hamsik we may have to settle for a draw.
SCOTLAND 2, SLOVAKIA 2
ANTHONY HAGGERTY
THE time has come for John McGinn and Callum McGregor to serve their country and do us all proud – and they most certainly will. Strachan’s men will get the victory needed.
