Don’t be vain about Spain with these beautiful collections

I’M still obsessing over Spanish shops this week.

Maybe that’s because I’m not back from my holidays yet.

This time it’s everyone’s favourite, Zara. How did we ever manage without it?

This season’s collections are the best they’ve had in years.

It’s a great spot to pick some of the newest trend-led pieces, at really great prices.

Velvet, of course, is just about everywhere.

But Zara’s soft velvet dresses and draped jackets are just a little bit different from the rest of the high street right now.

I’m loving all the pearl embellishment, too – on bags, sweatshirts, jeans, and even shoes – just not all at the one time, please.

And floral prints, although I’ve never really been into them before, are just stunning for winter.

Go for dark prints that’ll work really well with black or tan accessories.

And those lovely autumn colours of sage green, rust and burgundy, which have been in all the big designer collections, are filling the rails.

I really need to stay away from the place or my excess luggage on the way home is going to be ridiculous.
