I was Bell of a good kisser in audition
ACTOR Jamie Bell has revealed his kissing made a big impression the first time he met his future wife.
The Billy Elliot star smooched actress Kate Mara, 31, in an audition 12 years ago and she went home and told her mum what a good kisser he was.
The couple got together nine years later and tied the knot in July.
Jamie, 31, told The Jonathan Ross Show: “I met her on a screen test for a film 12 years ago. Neither of us got the part.
“She did have to kiss a lot of other guys – pop stars, legitimate movie stars.
“Apparently she went home and her mum said, ‘How was your day?’, and she was like, ‘I kissed a lot of guys today but Jamie Bell was a good kisser.’
“And then 12 years later, we got married.”
