OLIVIER NTCHAM has done the verbal sparring with his Bayern Munich pal Kingsley Coman – now it’s time to show real French fight.

The Celtic midfielder and team-mate Moussa Dembele are preparing for a quickfire reunion with their Bayern buddy in Wednesday’s Champions League showdown.

Brendan Rodgers and his team go into battle at the Allianz Arena against a team full of glittering stars.

Ntcham, at least, won’t be taken by surprise by one of the all-star Bayern cast.

France star Coman and his compatriot were kids together as they came through the system at Paris St Germain.

While the Celtic midfielder headed for Manchester City to try and further his career, his pal chose Italy and Juventus.

Coman has since graduated to Bayern but the pair and Dembele have kept close due to their involvement with the French unders sides.

The trio recently came together again at Clairefontaine during the international break. But, while they were unified for national pride then, it’s rival club business this week.

Ntcham and Coman could not be going into the clash in better shape. At the weekend, the Hoops star smacked the winning goal against Dundee to keep Celtic on top of the Scottish Premiership.

Over in Germany, Coman was also on the scoresheet as his side hammered Freiburg to stay on the heels of pacesetters Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

With French midfielder Corentin Tolisso and Franck Ribery a Bayern hero, there will be no shortage of familiar faces around the place when Ntcham hits Bavaria.

The games have already begun as he said: “Myself and Moussa teased him a bit.

“But we laugh like that all the time when we are together. It is good.

“Kingsley is a friend of mine and we keep in touch. When I went away on the international break just there, he was there with us. It was good to see him.

“We played many games together. Maybe 10-15 games together in the French team.

“He’s a very good player and scored on Saturday against Freiburg, so I’m happy for him.

“We were speaking about the Bayern against Celtic game and what was going to happen.

“He was saying they are going to win but I said we hope we are going to win as well. We will see what happens.

“On the pitch Kingsley is a player we need to watch because he is very talented. He is very fast and strong when he has the ball at his feet.

“You have to be very careful when he is playing. They have some top players.”

Ntcham might know some of the opposition but Celtic boss Rodgers will know every single detail about the Germans.

However, knowing them is one thing. Stopping them is quite another.

Celtic are massive underdogs going into the showdown and will need a spectacular performance to take anything out of the game.

But having defeated Anderlecht in Brussels last time out to go level on points with the Germans in Group B, belief
