JENNIFER Lawrence claims she was made to do a “nude line-up” and advised to lose weight by a female film producer. The Oscar-winning actress, 27, told an awards ceremony audience it was “degrading and humiliating”. She also said a male film executive had told her she was “perfectly ‘f***able’.” Addressing issues around allegations against Harvey Weinstein at the Elle Women In Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles, Lawrence said she found the sexual harassment and rape claims against the movie producer “harrowing”. She didn’t name the movie or executives involved but said she was told to “lose 15lb” in 14 days when she was “starting out”. Lawrence said: “One girl had already been fired for not losing enough weight. “A female producer had me do a nude line-up with five women much, much thinner than me. We all stood side by side with just paste-ons covering our privates. Then the female producer said I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.”

After telling another executive about the remarks, she said: “He told me he didn’t know why everyone thought I was so fat, he thought I was ‘perfectly f***able.’”

Lawrence said she was too focused on her career to be a whistleblower.

She added: “I couldn’t have gotten a producer or a director or a studio head fired. I let myself be treated a certain way because I felt like I had to for my career.

“I was young and walking that fine line of sticking up for myself without being called difficult, which they did call me. I believe the word they used was ‘nightmare’.”

It was only after starring in The Hunger Games films that Lawrence felt she had “the power to say, ‘No’”.

Weinstein denies claims of non-consensual sex.
