Get me out of it

BOBBY GEORGE CHRISTOPHER BIGGINS LINDA ROBSON JOHN FASHANU

DARTS star Bobby George was so ill after eating the cannabis food on offer that bosses decided he couldn’t be left on his own.

Bobby says he had never tried a joint in his life before taking part on the show but decide to give it a go.

He said: “I did the wacky baccy, of course I did. How can you talk about a thing you don’t know?

“I’ve never touched it before, I didn’t like the smell of it. But I wanted to educate myself.”

Bobby, 71, walks with a stick and takes prescribed medication. He added: “I take 13-14 tablets a day but it doesn’t do you any good. With marijuana I’ve learned a lot, the good it does medically and socially.” CHRISTOPHER thought he’d “died and gone to hell” after eating too much cannabis.

He said: “I would never take it again because it made me so ill. I collapsed, I went to sleep, I woke up and they heard ‘help’. I threw up about 25 times.”

Biggins had eaten ratatouille cooked with cannabis butter and ice cream with cannabis.

He added: “We ate too much. It was terrifying.”

The pantomime star admits he was “very anti” marijuana until embarking on his voyage of discovery.

He said: “We saw so many positives that amazed us. Of course, the big thing that we all found is that people are out to make money and there’s a lot of money to be made.” LINDA says she was told not to smoke dope on camera.

The Loose Women star explained: “My agent had warned me, ‘Do not smoke on television, you’re on daytime telly and you’ll lose your job’.

“But the first night we had a puff of it and then just had a fit of the giggles and slept really well.”

She was inspired to take part after hearing how cannabis oil helped a boy with leukaemia who had been given a “one in eight billion” chance of survival.

Linda, 59, added: “If one of my family had any form of cancer, I would illegally go and get them this cannabis oil because I have seen so many people who claim it has helped.

“If it was legal, I would have brought some home with me.” THE former footballer had a strong personal reason for getting involved in the programme. His son has suffered from seizures all his life.

John met a young girl who suffered from the same condition but was helped by cannabis oil. He said: “Now my son is 21 – it’s too late, his brain has formed now. The seizures have gone but he’s not where he should be at his age.”

John, 55, says he wishes he’d been able to use the drug to help his son.

Fash – who says he tried eating some cannabis but found it just sent him to sleep – says he now believes it could be helpful to other families.

He added: “One hundred per cent. I think one thing we all agree on is that for medicinal purposes, it should be available.”
