Tech boost of £100bn

THE economy could be boosted by £100billion if more firms embraced the best technology, the country’s biggest business group claims.

The Government are being urged to promote take-up of mobile technology, cloud computing and cyber security.

CBI’s Carolyn Fairbairn said: “Failing to adopt the technologies of today is leaving a yawning gap in productivity and pay between businesses.”
