Westminster is Paradise for the rich
FIRST there were the Panama Papers, now it’s the Paradise Papers – how many Papers will it take before this Tory Government act on blatant tax avoidance?
But is the silence and inaction in Westminster surprising? After all, the list includes one of the Tory Party’s biggest donors, Lord Ashcroft, who has given £10million to them.
We live in a society where the UK Government are more than happy to drive people into poverty and push working families to foodbanks. We have a Tory Government who are willing to push ahead with their universal credit that will leave people going hungry while they wait six weeks for their money – but who help the richest get richer by hiding their money.
It’s little wonder we’re headed towards the biggest increase in inequality since the days of Thatcher.
