Now we are back on target

- LEAGUE ONE

NEIL PARRY insists Alloa are proving they’re the real deal after a first quarter to forget.

The Wasps keeper celebrated his side’s fourth win on the spin with a third clean sheet in a row after a 2-0 defeat of Albion Rovers.

Iain Flannigan and sub Kris Renton scored in each half to clinch it for Alloa to stay third and keep up the pressure on Ayr and Raith who clash tomorrow night.

And Parry said: “We were all disappointed how the first quarter panned out but now we’re showing the sort of team we can be. We want to be up there challenging in the play-off positions.

“The gaffer told us when we had nine points there was no point feeling sorry for ourselves. We had to come back stronger and in the second quarter we have.”
