FRENCH Alpine skier David Poisson has died following a crash during training at the Canadian resort of Nakiska.
The 35-year-old, who won the bronze medal in the downhill at the 2013 world championships, was preparing for World Cup races in North America.
A statement from the French Federation said: “All of our coaches and staff join the pain of David’s loved ones in these particularly difficult times.”
