Former Manchester United star Eric Cantona infamously kung fu kicked Crystal Palace fan Matthew Simmons after he insulted him following his sending off in a match in 1995.
And earlier this month, Cantona’s compatriot Patrice Evra was sent off before Marseille’s Europa League clash at Vitoria de Guimaraes for kicking a fan of his own team in the head.
