Can mum & dad still hear me?

-

DEAR LUKE, I SADLY lost my fabulous dad on May 3, 2006, aged 84, and wonderful mum on October 20, 2008, at 85. I have often talked to them when I go to the cemetery and have always wondered if they hear me.

I also had the most fantastic uncle who passed a long time ago. I have been told he is my guardian angel. Would he come through?

Also, my husband’s illness is getting worse and I just want him to get back to the guy I’ve known and adored for nearly 40 years.

Carol HI CAROL, DESPITE no draughts or breezes, your letter floated off my table. There was a burst of hearty laughter and then a voice telling you to do something about those trees. I’ll leave that with you so long as you’ve got the message. Your mum and dad are stepping forward with grace and humility. As much as you adored them, their love and admiration for you is more than I can put into words. You were their rock, and you have been for many other people too. Your mum hears you loud and clear “at the stones” but your dad asks if you could speak up. He’s an old-school gentleman, loves his family, and has had a comforting arm around you many times since his passing. He wants to tell you that despite one or two bits and bobs, he had a charmed life until the end and was the luckiest man on earth to have his family throughout it all. You share a name with a lady in Spirit who stands with your mum and dad. She has the same look as your mum could have sometimes, but the love is always there. Uncle Pat is a card. He walks with you but says he’s no angel. Your nana’s here to back that up! The love from your family is remarkable, Carol, and you’re blessed to have each other. Your mum and dad adore your husband, and they’re often by his side when he’s struggling.

The name Michael is repeated to me and I’m given an image of a young couple who are very close to you. Your parents are very proud of them plus one other, and I feel she’s preparing you for an arrival of some description.

Their love is with you always and forever.
