ITV TUNE INTO AD RECOVERY
ITV are scheduling an advertising recovery over the next two months. The broadcaster, who screened our sister paper the Daily Mirror’s Pride of Britain Awards where Moin Younis was named Teenager of Courage, saw sales dip one per cent to £2.1billion in the nine months to September 30. ITV suffered from supermarkets and grocery goods firms such as Reckitt Benckiser cutting back their spending. But executive chairman Sir Peter Bazalgette said they were on their way back, with advertising sales expected to be up two per cent in November and one per cent in December.
