SAYS RYAN JACK

RYAN JACK offered a brutally honest assessment of Rangers’ display on Saturday and insisted they can have no complaints if their big-game mentality is being questioned.

Graeme Murty’s men dominated Hamilton Accies until conceding a shocking goal early in the second half and then proceeded to panic and allow the increasingly disgruntled 49,000 crowd to get to them before losing a second goal.

It was enough to hand the Lanarkshire outfit their first league win at Ibrox since 1926 and added to a horror list of results that has seen Rangers win

only two of their seven home matches in this campaign. Jack was one of the few Rangers players to emerge with any credit from a match that saw Alfredo Morelos miss a host of chances and Ross McCrorie gift David Templeton the opening goal.

“He’s got a really mature head on him so I’m sure if he’s selected this week he will put that right.

“It’s important we don’t come away from here blaming each other, falling out and arguing.

“It’s about sticking together and getting back around each other in training and making sure we show a reaction.” Jack admitted he couldn’t believe Rangers lost a game they’d controlled throughout the first half but he knows the response to conceding the first goal leaves his side wide open to accusations of being mentally weak.

He added: “We dominated and created lots of opportunities. In the first half we were miles ahead of Hamilton and created gilt-edged chances.

“We had a real spring in our step and we were all together. At half-time we said we had to just do more of the same, keep doing what we were doing and the goal would come.

“Obviously, it’s then a sore one to take. We’ve had a chance to beat Hamilton at home and put on another good performance which I think we did in the first half.

“We didn’t get the goal, fair enough, that happens. But I think when we lose the goal there are
