WANTS TO WORK THINGS OUT

-

however, I am a strong person. “I don’t feel sorry for myself. Also a few people are probably thinking I’m stupid for staying in my marriage. I am not stupid, I know my own mind and it’s something I want to try to work on.” Wayne had kept his own wedding ring on for the past three months and had desperately begged Coleen for forgiveness. But she admitted she thought the marriage was over.

Yesterday, she said: “No, I’m not taking Wayne back as he’s never left. Yes, it has been a s*** time and, yes, time was spent apart and I thought my marriage might have been at an end.

“There’s been so many stories in the Press, so many sources chipping in, so-called friends having their say and a few well-known names giving their opinion.”

She added: “Remember, I do have a private life and we are real people which is sometimes overlooked. We do have worries, troubles and obstacles we go through without anyone knowing and we also have fun times making memories with our loved ones without people knowing.

“Not everything in our life is moneyrelated. People think when you earn a lot of money everything is fine, but this isn’t everything in life and it’s doesn’t always make people happy.”

After Wayne was arrested, office worker Laura, 29, went on TV to say Coleen should not forgive him. The single mum of one said: “I wouldn’t do that to my partner.”

But she denied being responsible for the couple’s marriage woes and claimed nothing happened between them in her soft-top Beetle after they met in a bar in Wilmslow.

Coleen was pregnant with Kai in 2010 when Wayne allegedly romped with two prostitutes.

And earlier this year, she was furious at reports he had “cosied up” to a woman during a late-night pub session while she was in Madrid.
