NORTH Korea claims its latest missile tested could reach anywhere in the US.

Despot Kim Jong-un yesterday said he guided the Hwasong-15, described as his “most powerful” test.

State television claimed the country had finally achieved its mission of becoming a nuclear state.

It said that the intercontinental ballistic missile was “capable of striking the whole mainland of the US”.

The missile reached 2780 miles in height and flew 590 miles in 53 minutes on Tuesday night, according to Pyongyang.

The UN Security Council held an emergency session yesterday. While American president Donald Trump tweeted: “Additional major sanctions will be imposed on North Korea today.” SOME 2.7million British users of the taxi firm Uber were affected by the massive data security breach, it has been reported.

The taxi-hailing firm admitted hackers were able to obtain the names, email addresses and mobile phone numbers of passengers and drivers.

Third-party investigators have found no indication that financial details, journey histories and dates of birth were downloaded, according to Uber.

Downing Street said last week that the cyber attack, which affected 57million customers and drivers worldwide, was not initially reported by the firm after they hushed up the scandal.

The app is used in towns and cities across the UK, with 3.5million passengers and 40,000 drivers in London.
