Bookies now make our boy
SCOT Joe McFadden is the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing – after he was killed off in Holby City.
Bookies Coral have given the star odds of 5-4 to lift the Glitterball Trophy in next Saturday’s final.
Debbie McGee is 7-4 second favourite and Alexandra Burke is now an outsider at 8-1 after last week’s dance-off drama.
Gemma Atkinson is also 8-1 and Mollie King is 12-1.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Joe sensationally left Holby City this week but he’ll be hoping to be on our screens a little longer by going all the way on Strictly.
“He’s been steady throughout and has some strong public support so we make him our favourite to lift the trophy. Alexandra has arguably been the best dancer throughout but she just hasn’t got the same level of backing from the viewers and with rumours of a backstage bust-up last week, her odds have now drifted all the way out to 8-1.”
The Saturdays singer Mollie King is the 5-4 favourite in the betting for the next elimination in today’s semi-final.
