Jungle Becky’s tears at bullying claims
I’M A Celebrity star Rebekah Vardy broke down in tears over claims that she was a bully in the jungle.
The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy was horrified at allegations that she, Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas and boxer Amir Khan picked on Iain Lee.
Radio broadcaster Iain, 44, was accused of “playing a game”.
Mum-of-four Rebekah, 35, who became a favourite for her bravery in the trials, became emotional as she protested her innocence. She said: “You know what, I was the one that was the most supportive of him. I’ve never been a bully in my entire life.”
Rebekah’s comments came on the I’m A Celebrity Coming Out show. Overhearing the comments, Iain said: “Let’s quash this rumour once and for all. Bullying is a very serious thing. It’s a huge word. There was no bullying whatsoever.”
Another revelation for the campers was the truth behind the strawberry incident, which saw Iain take the blame after he and Amir devoured a plate of them they had won for the hungry team.
Dennis Wise, who had accused Iain of “upsetting everything in the camp”, said: “Amir! They both encouraged each other but Amir started it, by the looks of it. The rascal!”
And former Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale said of Stanley Johnson: “For the first few days I was really angry at him because every time I looked at him all I could see was Boris.
