Julie's style secrets

Our expert takes the weight off her feet with a little pampering trip

-

THIS week has been a bit of a treat for the girls in my family - the little ones as well as me.

I think we found the most convincing Santa you’ll ever see, at House of Fraser’s Glasgow. They’re doing lovely Santa’s Storytime sessions for the kids which is a little bit different from your usual grotto visits. Each session is an hour long, and it includes a cute little sweet treats picnic in Santa’s living room as well as colouring and a chance to post a letter to the North Pole. There’s a fabulous gift basket of Christmas toys and sweets to take home. The girls were truly wowed.

Mummy’s Christmas treat this week was a visit to the brand new Margaret Dabbs Foot Clinic that’s just opened in Bothwell Street in Glasgow. Margaret Dabbs looks after the feet of A-listers and royalty, but until now her treatments haven’t been available north of the border.

I tried out a Medical Pedicure which was by far the best I’ve had. The luxurious 45-minute treatment totally transforms your feet and identifies any underlying problems. Check out my Want it, Win it section for a chance to try it out for yourself. I loved the clinic so much that I’ve already been back for a manicure and a massage – it is Christmas after all!
