Fallen Scott designs unique Xmas greeting for his family and friends

SHAMED fighter Scott Harrison is spending his festive season behind bars and away from his family.

But the former world champion got into the Christmas spirit to design his own festive greeting in prison.

Harrison, 40, who has been honing his artistic talents while doing time for assault, produced a festive vision of a reindeer which his family turned into greetings cards.

The image is his tribute to Landseer’s famous Monarch of the Glen.

It shows a reindeer standing with its head turned to the right in a pose similar to the iconic painting of a stag.

Above and below the image are the words “Merry” and “Christmas”.

Inside, the cards bear the message: ”We hope you have a really Merry Christmas.”

Dad-of-four Harrison has been spending his time painting and using the gym to keep fit at maximum security Shotts prison in Lanarkshir­e.

The Record previously revealed he had painted a likeness of Sir Billy Connolly. Harrison’s partner Stacey said: “He is keeping his head down and getting on with things.” Harrison was refused parole earlier this year and the Record revealed he had a fractious relationsh­ip with some staff at the jail. But Stacey said: “That is all behind him now.” Next Christmas should be the big one for the family because Harrison is due for release in July. He’s looking forward to spending it with Stacey, Scott junior, 15, Maria, 11, Jack, eight, and Brandon, three.
