But Louise Redknapp still wears ring as judge grants decree nisi

LOUISE Redknapp emerged still wearing her wedding ring after divorcing husband Jamie over his “unreasonable behaviour”.

A judge took just 25 seconds yesterday to end the marriage of the Strictly Come Dancing star and the football pundit after 19 years.

But Louise, 43, was still wearing her wedding band and engagement ring as she left a hotel in Liverpool as the hearing took place in London. She was in good spirits the night before, performing songs at a friend’s wedding and being pictured with Strictly pal Aljaz Skorjanec.

She giggled and grinned at the bash for Strictly choreographer Jason Gilkison.

Another of Louise’s pals, her former dance partner Kevin Clifton, was there with his wife, Karen, though they did not stand together for photos. The dancers are said to be on the rocks but “working on their relationship.”

Kevin supported Louise at a comeback gig in London recently.

Also there were former contestants, Saturdays stars Frankie Bridge and Mollie King, with pro dancers including Janette Manrara and Aljaz.

Louise left the reception holding Frankie’s hand. Former England and Liverpool star Jamie, 44, is not opposing the divorce, the papers show. Neither of the couple attended the hearing. A decree absolute can be issued after six weeks

The couple have two children, Charlie, 13, and Beau, nine, and were thought to have had one of the strongest marriages in showbiz before Louise moved out of the family’s home in Oxshott, Surrey, in October.

She said she’d come to feel like “a sort of Stepford Wife”. She added: “He’s an amazing man and we’ve had 20 good years together.”
