Home care survival alert

MOST home care services are fearful about being able to survive this year, a survey has found.

The study by Scottish Care, who represent independent providers of social care, found 86 per cent were concerned about their sustainability in 2018 and 24 per cent were “extremely concerned”.

The online survey represents 5893 home care staff caring for 12,000 people.
