Veteran: Create a village of heroes

AN IRAQ War veteran has issued a desperate call to arms to create homes for a growing army of homeless Scottish veterans.

Chris Wieczorek, who now runs his own property business, has already housed seven homeless ex-soldiers.

Now, he wants to create a DIY SOS-style veterans’ village to cope with the national scandal of former servicemen and women sleeping on the streets.

About 9000 heroes are homeless after leaving the military. Shockingly, ex-service personnel account for one in 10 rough sleepers across the UK.
