Baffled Bairns
PAUL WATSON admits Falkirk’s players didn’t see Tuesday’s hammering by Inverness coming – just three days after hitting Dundee United for six.
The Bairns travelled to the Highlands on a high after beating the Championship title hopefuls 6-1.
But Paul Hartley’s side shipped three goals in the first 30 minutes at the Caledonian stadium and crashed to a 4-1 loss.
Watson, who replaced Jordan McGhee at the break, said: “After Saturday we didn’t really see that coming but that’s the league we’re in. It was disappointing after a good win.”
