PASTA & FETA SALAD

What is it? A substantia­l pasta salad with feta, slow dried tomatoes, shards of greenery and a tomatoey dressing. Ready to eat. How did we copy it? We mixed 110g of cooked pasta (10p), with seven halved, oven-baked cherry tomatoes (12p) and seven cubes of feta (10p) in a dressing made from tomato purée (2p), balsamic vinegar (4p), rapeseed oil (1p), dried oregano, salt and pepper. Total cost 44p. Any problems? No, it was very straightfo­rward to make. Taste test? The home-made version tasted fresher, possibly because of the lighter tomatoes. Saving £2.06
