PASTA & FETA SALAD
What is it? A substantial pasta salad with feta, slow dried tomatoes, shards of greenery and a tomatoey dressing. Ready to eat. How did we copy it? We mixed 110g of cooked pasta (10p), with seven halved, oven-baked cherry tomatoes (12p) and seven cubes of feta (10p) in a dressing made from tomato purée (2p), balsamic vinegar (4p), rapeseed oil (1p), dried oregano, salt and pepper. Total cost 44p. Any problems? No, it was very straightforward to make. Taste test? The home-made version tasted fresher, possibly because of the lighter tomatoes. Saving £2.06
