If Blues don’t go Green they’ll have red faces

-

AWARDS season is under way with the Golden Globes and the word on everyone’s lips was scandal.

The male guests were looking pleased with themselves. Partly due to the fact they won.

But also because they’ve got a great chance of getting all the parts that Kevin Spacey would have played this year.

It’s also the first time in a while that Hollywood actors have had their names read aloud to the press and it wasn’t followed by a list of allegations.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Nail will no longer star in Sting’s musical The Last Ship when it makes its UK debut this year.

Apparently, Jimmy wanted something the producers couldn’t guarantee before he’d agree to take part. Most likely a decent singing voice.

The other scandal this week is our use of plastics.

Theresa May has spent her week calling for supermarkets to bring in plastic-free aisles. This means budget ready meals will have to be plastic-free. Which is tricky because judging by the taste that’s their main ingredient.

Everyone’s affected. I’m not saying environmental waste is out of control but apparently David Attenborough’s new TV Show is called Blue Plastic. It just features him sifting through all the different juice bottles in the ocean.

As for Attenborough, big Davie says he’ll only retire if his work standards begin to slip.

Fair dos. He’s been doing his nature shows for so long now, the apes that he first filmed have now evolved into humans.

That said, I was gutted to hear the world’s oldest silverback gorilla sadly died at the age of 56.

In fairness, you could tell he was old. As he only used to beat his chest when he was trying to loosen some phlegm in the mornings.

But back to America, and TOWIE star Gemma Collins has revealed on North Korea say they will send a team to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games, taking place in South Korea. social media that she has landed herself a new job in the States.

In case you don’t know Gemma, she’s blonde, mouthy and borderline orange. So she’s got a decent chance of becoming the next president. ● Singer Kelly Clarkson has caused controversy by saying that there’s nothing wrong with smacking your kids.

She’s since been criticised by her namesake Jeremy, who says you should at least wait till they’re grown up and serving you a plate of cold meat. ● Dancing on Ice is back on the telly tomorrow night.

Of course this year they have an amazing cast.

Which will be used on the first celeb who breaks their leg falling over on the ice. Kim Jong-Un says he’s gonnae fly them there by ballistic missile.
